Videos and files

Video selection is initiated by you using Android's system photo picker. The app processes selected media locally on your device and saves the resulting file to Android shared media storage. Compressly does not upload video content, thumbnails, filenames, or local paths to ProEffectMedia servers. Processing history and settings are stored locally. Clearing app data or uninstalling the app can remove local history and settings; output files already saved to shared storage remain until you delete them.

Google Mobile Ads and consent

Free users may choose to watch a rewarded ad to receive one processing credit. Ads are not shown automatically during processing. The app uses Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to refresh consent information at startup, show consent forms where required, and expose privacy options when Google requires them. If consent is unavailable or ads cannot load, no reward is granted and processing credits are not consumed by the ad attempt.

Google Mobile Ads may process device and advertising identifiers, IP address, app interactions, diagnostics, and ad delivery or measurement information, subject to Google's services, your consent choices, and applicable law. Compressly does not send selected media or its contents to the ad SDK. See Google's Privacy Policy and Google Mobile Ads SDK data disclosure.

Google Play Billing

If you subscribe to Compressly Pro, Google Play handles payment and subscription billing. The app receives purchase product and entitlement state needed to provide subscription features and recheck purchases. ProEffectMedia does not receive your payment card number through the app. Google Play retains purchase records under its own policies. You can manage or cancel a subscription through Google Play.

Data retention and controls

Compressly has no account system or ProEffectMedia cloud storage. App settings, earned processing credits, and history are kept locally until you clear app data or uninstall. You can manage Android's advertising ID in Android settings and revisit ad privacy choices from Compressly Settings when the UMP option is required. Children and international users

Compressly is a general-purpose utility and is not designed for children. Google services may process information in countries where Google or its service providers operate. Use of those services is subject to applicable regional requirements and Google's policies.

Changes

We may update this notice when app features, SDK behavior, or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top identifies the current version. See also the Terms of Use.
