Who we are

ProEffectMedia OÜ operates this application. For privacy requests, contact [email protected].

Your media stays on your device

The app converts, trims and merges only local files you select through Android’s file picker. Video, audio, artwork, filenames and conversion outputs are not uploaded to us or to a processing server. Conversion works without an internet connection. There is no downloader, cloud processing, account system or login.

Storage access and retention

Android’s Storage Access Framework grants access only to files or a destination folder you select. We do not request broad photo, audio, video or all-files storage permissions. Temporary input copies are stored in the app’s private cache while probing or converting and removed after the operation. Converted audio and history are kept in private app storage until you delete them or uninstall the app. Save creates a copy in a location you choose. Deleting an item from history does not delete copies you saved elsewhere. Share and Open with hand a selected output to the application you choose using a temporary file-access grant.

Advertising

The free app uses Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads Next-Gen SDK) to display banners and occasional interstitial ads at natural breaks. These services can collect and share IP addresses (used to estimate approximate location), advertising and other device or account identifiers, app and ad interactions, and diagnostic or performance information. Google uses this information for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. SDK data is encrypted in transit. Your media files are not supplied to the advertising SDK.

Consent and privacy choices

Google’s User Messaging Platform manages applicable consent messages and stores privacy choices locally. The app checks consent eligibility before initializing the advertising SDK or requesting ads. Where required, Privacy choices in Settings lets you revisit your choice. Android settings let you reset or delete your advertising ID. Refusing consent does not prevent local media conversion. Advertising availability may vary with your choices, region and network.

Remove Ads Forever

An optional non-consumable Google Play purchase removes all in-app ads permanently for the entitled Google Play account. It is not a subscription. Google Play handles checkout, payment details, transaction information, refunds and purchase history under Google’s policies. We do not receive or store your card details. The app stores a Google-signed purchase receipt, signature and purchase token locally, checks ownership with Google Play, acknowledges confirmed purchases and restores them using the same Play account. Pending payments do not grant the entitlement. A successful ownership refresh can remove the entitlement after a refund or revocation. An offline device can retain its last verified receipt until Google Play can refresh ownership.

Other services and transfers

We do not add independent analytics, crash reporting, remote databases or backend services. Google advertising, consent and billing services may process their service data internationally. Opening this policy uses a browser; our website host may process standard network request information. We do not sell your media or personal information.

Children

This is a general utility intended for users aged 13 and older, and is not directed at children under 13. The app contains no child-focused content.

Your controls

You can remove local history and output files in My Files; clear app data or uninstall to remove private storage; use Android’s file manager to remove exported copies; change consent where available; and manage purchases or request eligible refunds through Google Play. Contact us about your privacy rights. We do not maintain a user account database, so account deletion is not applicable.

Security and changes

Private app storage, Android URI permissions and TLS for Google services protect data in their respective contexts. We do not claim absolute security. We update this page when the app’s behavior materially changes, with a revised effective date.

Open-source software

Audio processing uses FFmpeg 8.1.2 and LAME 3.100 under LGPL 2.1 or later. The engine is compiled without GPL or nonfree components and without network protocols. You may replace or relink the LGPL engine for your own use and reverse engineer it for debugging such modifications. Source archives, the exact build script and license texts are available below. Other Android and Kotlin components use their respective licenses.
